Protect your assets, plan for the future with Wealth Management
We offer you a number of ways to help make the most of your money and investments through our Wealth Management services. We offer these services through TMS Financial Services. TMS is a trading name of the Mortgage Shop.
Growing and protecting your wealth
Our Advisers will meet with you and discuss your current goals and objectives. They will then begin to develop strategies to grow and protect your wealth, whether your priorities are for the near future or the long term.
- Savings and investment
- Inheritance tax planning
A range of solutions from TMS
TMS Financial Services provides access to a range of savings and investments through unit trusts, OEICs, ISAs, investment bonds and SIPPs. These products are each supported by a panel offering access to around 15 fund management groups and 50 funds (depending upon product selected), that are selected and monitored by Legal & General's Investment Management Research Unit (IMRU).
Savings and Investment
The right type of savings plan could help you achieve your short or long-term goals – especially when large expenditure may be involved. So whether you're planning on saving for property, retirement, a family wedding or for your children's future, our financial advisers will listen to your specific needs and then tailor a flexible, individual plan for your requirements.
For some people, retirement may seem a long way off. For others, it's not too far ahead. However, no matter what stage you're at in life, it's never really too early to begin investing in a pension – or indeed planning to improve your current pension arrangements.
Our Pension Advisers will give you the help you need to put a Pension Plan into action. They'll carefully guide you through the options and choice of funds available to give you the best chance of the type of retirement you wish for.
Inheritance tax planning
Inheritance tax planning is an extremely important part of your overall wealth management plans. Indeed, effective planning could save your family hundreds of thousands of pounds. Our advisers will help you minimise the inheritance tax the beneficiaries of your estate will have to pay. This, for example, could help you keep assets within your family or protect your assets from the need to fund long-term residential care in later years.
The value of investments, and any income taken from them, may fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Typically we do not charge a fee, however if we do, depending on your circumstances, it will be a maximum of £300.
