Having achieved a Law Degree and spending a short period of time working in a legal practice, Siobhan realised that Law was not for her. She then spent 4 years with Abbey National building up a broad knowledge of the financial services market before opening The Mortgage Shop in 1992. Her role is to oversee the governance of the business ensuring regulatory standards are adhered to and a consistently high level of service is provided to our customers and to set the strategic direction for the business providing leadership for the management team.

Philip joined The Mortgage Shop from The Co-operative Financial Services in 2011 and has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He has held various roles, including leading, motivating, coaching and actively performance managing a team consisting of a combination Wealth, Protection and Mortgage Adviser’s so that budget areas are met in respect of Life, Savings/Investments, Mortgages and General Insurance. His current role involves playing an active part in recruitment whilst delivering a climate, culture and regulatory compliance within our region which delivers business success.

Julie joined The Mortgage Shop in 2011 after graduating from Queen’s University with a first-class honours degree in Accounting. She has worked her way up through the Company and is now part of the management team, dealing with the financial and operational aspects of the day to day business, as well as managing our social media, marketing and supporting the overall corporate governance of the organisation. She lives in Belfast and is married with 2 children.
